Mirrors Edge Review (PC)

Mirrors Edge is an FPS game like I have never seen before.. set in the future where you’re a runner of sensitive material named Faith. You travel by rooftop where you skid, jump, ledge-grab, vault, and even wall-run. You also make use of a 180 degree spin which you could be grabbing on to a ledge then quickly turn and jump off the wall onto another ledge. With these options available you can basically get through any obstacle you come across.
First thing you notice when you play the game is how the graphics are sharp. It’s almost a contempory look and feel.
The game is not like a lot of FPS games in the fact that it’s more about the cool movements than the shooting you are in fact encouraged in the game to run when you see the cops! However there is a way to disarm your opponents and take their weapon but you often run out of ammo quickly when you do this.
As well as a story mode the game also has a time trial mode in which you can race against other players ghosts online. There is also a leader board which makes you want to do better and better each time!
The story mode is fairly short and you will find yourself completing in a short time. However the game is fresh and unique experience.
