Games Developer rockstar of the mighty GTA games have designed a patch to fix a censor error which has been occuring through out europe. The error has only effected europe and happened when “The lost and damned” downloadable update was installed.

New start up company Gazillion Entertainment has announced a 10 year contract with Marvel to use their 5,000 characters in a new MMO game which is aimed as competition for Blizzard’s World of Warcraft.
Blizzard currently dominate the MMO industry with a turnover of over $1 billion each year with 11.5 million subscribers.
Simon Philips, Marvel’s president of worldwide consumer products, said the company’s stable of more than 5,000 superheroes was “tailor-made for massively multiplayer entertainment that will appeal to a wide audience”.
“Despite the tough economy, the video game industry continues to grow, and MMO games for mass audiences represent the next big opportunity for the upcoming decade,” said Gazillion president and chief executive Rob Hutter. “This is particularly the case for established global entertainment brands like Marvel, which possess hundreds of millions of touch points with fans worldwide.”
The first game in development is a casual MMO for younger audiences based on Marvel’s Super Hero Squad. It is due for release in 2010.
We have seen in movies ho controlling gaming through your mind maybe something to pissibly look forward to in the future. Now that wait is over with the addition of the NIA (Neural Impulse Actuator) from OCZ Technology.
The device, which consists of a headband that plugs into a small black box that then links into your PC, works by picking up signals produced by your brain, eyes and facial muscles. These are then translated into input signals, so if you’re playing a first-person shooter game online and you want to shoot, instead of clicking your mouse you can clench your jaw to have the same result.
The advantages:
“With the NIA, your reflexes don’t have to be propagated down your spinal cord, your peripheral nerves, and then the muscles of your hands,” says Dr. Michael Schuette, OCZ’s VP of technology development. “Instead, it goes instantaneously, so instead of having a 150 or 200 millisecond delay, you can – in an extreme case – get away with a 50-60 millisecond reaction time.”
Cheap at under £100
The Disadvantages:
There have been reports that is takes a while to get used to..
You can buy a NIA from OCZ Technology here @ Amazon for only £99.99

max payne 3
Rockstar Games today have announced they are working on max payne 3 and will hopefully be releasing it in winter 2009!
“We’re starting a new chapter of Max’s life with this game,” commented Rockstar cofounder Sam Houser in a statement. “This is Max as we’ve never seen him before, a few years older, more world-weary and cynical than ever. We experience the downward spiral of his life after the events of Max Payne 2 and witness his last chance for salvation.”
Rockstar did not delve into specific gameplay details, and did not mention the series’ genre-defining “bullet time” slow-motion technique. The publisher merely noted that “the latest installment delivers more of the classic elements and hyperintense action that fans have come to love.”
I reall enjoyed the first 2 titles those many years ago, so cant wait for MP3!

Men of War takes place in Europe and North Africa during the height of World War II. The story takes place over three different campaigns and players take on the role of Soviet, Allied and German soldiers. Each campaign has its own scenario and structured timeline, which brings different elements of the war to life.
The game features hundreds of accurately modelled historical tanks and vehicles — including new designs of tanks, APCs and heavy guns — all of which are ready for your command. Dynamic in-game cutscenes enhance the single-player by telling the plot, without pulling the player out of the game experience. What’s more, the sounds of war have been given a new lease of life, with more than 1,000 sounds effects of weapons and combat gear; all recorded under real operating conditions.
The single-player campaign also features a customisable user-interface, so players can have the command controls laid out in their own style. One of the biggest changes for Men of War is the inclusion of a comprehensive multiplayer, featuring new maps and modes, including Capture the Flag, High-Value Cargo and more. Also, there’s a refined rating system to ensure a fair fight in online multiplayer battles.

Appologises for taking a while to announce the winner of the competition! It took a while to tally up all the entries! The Winner has now been selected at random and an email has been sent out to them to confirm which prize they want!
Hopefully we might get a picture from the winner with their prize!
I would like to thank everyone who entered the competition! Hopefully there will be more competitions in the future so I look forward to everyone getting involved again next time!
The first game was a huge success, and I think MW2 is set to be as much as a success or better! So far we have seen people play the demo on single player which looks a lot like the old game with a few cool things added such a snow mobil and heart beat sensor. However we don’t know much about the changes to the multiplayer. I am hoping for a co-operative mode as I believe this could work well like it did in Left 4 Dead.
I’m really looking forward to the release and will be pre-ordering my copy from amazon soon! only £29.99!
